Minnesota Roller Derby

Minnesota Roller Derby
Event Info
Minnesota Roller Derby’s (MNRD) home team semi-finals have arrived and skaters are ready to push past the competition in pursuit of the Golden Skate. Join us on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. in The Legendary Roy Wilkins Auditorium to see MNRD set the stage for the championships. Regular season seeding has made for two rematches from the last bout; first, the Wednesday Warnings play the Roller Vortex, followed by the Maul Rats battling the Bodies of Water.
For the first time since 2004, MNRD has premiered four new home teams that have been completely re-drafted for season 19. Long-time fans will recognize some of their favorite skaters on the new teams, plus many new skaters ready to make their mark. Fans can expect the same hard hits and exciting games with all-new teams to cheer for.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Come early to watch a demonstration of roller derby rules and meet the skaters before they take to the track. Head down to the track at halftime for a dance party between games. After the bout, you can meet your favorite skaters at Camp Bar and Cabaret in St. Paul for the official MNRD afterparty.
