Hammer Swings & Hockey Things: Giving Back to the Community
We absolutely love getting out in the community and helping our neighbors, and this month we've been able to do that in two awesome ways!💪🏽🏒
🛠️ Building Dreams, One Nail at a Time
Last week, over 60 full-time employees rolled up their sleeves and swapped keyboards for tool belts at our Habitat for Humanity Build Week. Over the course of six days (that’s a whopping 360 hours of volunteer time!), our team came together to help build not one, but two new homes in Maplewood.
From team coaches and their significant others to front office staff and folks from the business side, it was all hands on deck. Or as we like to say, many hands make light work (and great drywall).
There’s nothing quite like seeing a house go from foundation to frame, knowing every swing of the hammer is helping create a future home for a local family.
🧹 Meanwhile... at Wild Fest: A Garage Sale for the Record Books
While sawdust was flying in Maplewood, things were equally wild over at Saint Paul RiverCentre, where we hosted this year’s Wild Fest — and let’s just say, fans showed up.
One of the hottest spots at the event? The legendary Garage Sale. We managed to sell a jaw-dropping 6,020 items in just 980 transactions. From game-used gear to exclusive merch, Wild fans went home with some serious treasures.
And the best part? We raised a total of $48,466 for the Minnesota Wild Foundation — helping to support local youth hockey, wellness initiatives, and community programs across the state. 🙌
(Oh, and those leftover items? They’re not going to waste — they’re being donated to nonprofits and locations all over the Twin Cities.)
💚 One Wild Week, Two Big Wins
Whether we were swinging hammers or scanning barcodes, last week was all about giving back, teamwork, and showing what’s possible when we bring our passion to the community.
Here’s to building stronger homes, stronger communities, and one seriously strong team.
