We’re proud to share that Saint Paul River Centre and Grand Casino Arena, under the umbrella of parent company Minnesota Sports & Entertainment (MSE), have been named a 2025 GOAL Sustainability Contender — and we didn’t just show up, we showed out, bringing home 26 medals at this year’s GOAL Medal Awards in Las Vegas on September 9!

 

And we’re not just talking participation ribbons here — we’re talking real-deal recognition for our hard work in sustainability. We were even officially named a 2025 GOAL Sustainability Contender, which is like the Oscars for going green.

 

🏅 Medal Count:

• 2 Gold
• 15 Silver
• 9 Bronze

This recognition highlights our year-over-year progress and a holistic commitment to sustainable operations — from energy and waste to partnerships and purchasing.

• Setting Sustainability Strategy & Goals
• Implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)-Driven Purchasing Policy

We’re not just setting green goals — we’re following through with real action. Translation: we’re not just dreaming of a greener future — we’ve got the policies and the purpose to back it up.

 

We also grabbed a silver medal in Prioritizing Renewable Energy, thanks in part to the solar-powered roof shining bright atop the Saint Paul RiverCentre and our RiverCentre Parking Ramp. Sunshine never looked so productive! 🌞

We also upgraded from Bronze to Silver in two of our favorite Sustainable Partnerships areas:

• Partnering with Brand on Visitor Activation
• Activating Brand Partnership Facility Improvements & Upgrades
