Event Info

Father Mike Schmitz is the director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Duluth as well as the Chaplain for the Newman Center at the University of Minnesota–Duluth. Through his digital ministry, he has preached to millions of people around the world, and is best known for his chart-topping podcasts The Bible in a Year and The Catechism in a Year, produced by Ascension. Father Mike offers weekly Sunday homilies on YouTube and all major podcast apps, as well as on the Ascension App, Hallow, and bulldogCatholic.org. He also releases short video messages on the Ascension Presents YouTube channel to help viewers grow in their relationship with Jesus and understanding of the Catholic Church.

Bag Policy: For safety and speed of entry, we strongly discourage guests from bringing bags of any kind to events at Roy Wilkins Auditorium. Purses no larger than 12” x 12” x 6" are allowed and subject to inspection. Oversized bags including backpacks are prohibited.
Parking: Attendees are encouraged to park in the RiverCentre Parking Ramp which is located on Kellogg Boulevard and offers skyway access to Roy Wilkins Auditorium. The ramp is now equipped with license plate reader technology, making paying for parking more convenient and efficient.
