MINNESOTA TO HOST THE 2026 WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP
The 10-nation tournament features the best men’s players in the world under 20 years of age and the 29 games of the championship take place over 10 days. The 2026 event marks the 50th anniversary of the IIHF World Junior Championship. Grand Casino Arena, home of the NHL’s Minnesota Wild in Saint Paul, and 3M Arena at Mariucci on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, will serve as the competition venues.

The Blue Line Crew Powered by Cub is the all-star team of volunteers helping bring the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship to life — right here in the heart of the State of Hockey. From fan experiences and arena operations to courtesy car driving and more, this dedicated group plays a vital role in delivering an unforgettable tournament for fans, players, and visitors from around the world. No matter what role you play, you'll be part of something truly special.
Orientation is Wednesday, November 12 at 6:00 p.m. at Saint Paul RiverCentre.
There are still some volunteer shifts available.
