Senior Legal Fair Returns to Saint Paul RiverCentre Sept. 9

The 2015 Senior Legal Fair, presented by Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS), will be held on Wednesday, September 9 from 8:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Saint Paul RiverCentre. SMRLS has partnered with UCare, the event's premiere sponsor, to provide the Senior Legal Fair for the ninth consecutive year. Admission is free but registration is required.

The 2015 Senior Legal Fair is a multicultural event serving the legal needs of low-income seniors residing in the Saint Paul/Minneapolis metropolitan area. Many corporate, legal aid and government lawyers will be present. The Senior Legal Fair has several different events that educate and serve seniors in unique and meaningful ways, including breakout workshops on legal issues, the opportunity to meet with attorneys for brief advice, and drafting free simple wills.

SMRLS is a non-profit law firm that aids low-income people in Ramsey, Dakota, Washington, Scott and Carver counties. The Senior Legal Fair assists seniors of all ethnic backgrounds with their legal rights and problems. This year the fair will focus on legal issues in technology and empowering seniors to maintain independence.

Drawings for three FREE computers (eligibility requirements apply)
Free Simple Wills (space is limited and registration required by September 1)
Community Education Workshops
20 minute one-on-one advice sessions
